AWS CloudScape CRA Complexity Scoring Application Disposition Migration Roadmap 6 Datacenters / 4 Continents Citrix SQL Server Commercial Real Estate

I led the Cloud Readiness Assessment and Application Disposition and Discovery engagement for one of the world's largest commercial real estate services companies. The scope spanned six datacenters across four continents — two in the US (Virginia and Lisle, IL), the UK (London), Germany (Frankfurt), Hong Kong, and Australia (Sydney) — representing a genuinely global on-premises footprint being assessed for cloud migration.

I produced CloudScape-based complexity scorecards for four of the six sites (Germany, Lisle, London, and Sydney), built application dependency data for each location, and developed migration cost estimators for the three highest-priority migration sites. The engagement delivered a consolidated economics model, a final Application Disposition and Discovery Services report, and detailed migration roadmap for the client's cloud program leadership.

Detailed migration cost estimators built for Germany, Lisle, and Sydney using the RXT Migration Estimator Tool — covering labor, tooling, and infrastructure transition costs per wave.

FinOps Reporting

FinOps analysis reports produced as part of the ongoing engagement — tracking current spend, optimization opportunities, and cloud cost projections against migration milestones.

Database Cost Analysis

Separate analysis for SQL Server and Oracle database workloads — including licensing impact, managed service options (RDS, Aurora, Azure SQL MI), and migration path recommendations.

Led the CloudScape-based discovery and complexity scoring across four datacenters on three continents — producing per-site complexity scorecards and application dependency data for each location.

Produced the Application Disposition and Discovery Services Final Report — compiling discovery workshop outputs, stack classifications, and migration disposition for all 22 application groups.

Migration Cost Estimation

Built migration cost estimators for Germany, Lisle, and Sydney using the RXT estimator tool — providing the financial input for the migration roadmap and program budgeting.

Consolidated Economics

Built the consolidated global economics model — aggregating per-site TCO, savings projections, and migration investment across all six datacenters into a single decision-support model.

Infrastructure Data Collection

Coordinated and processed multi-format infrastructure data: RVTools VMware exports (US, HK, UK), Nutanix collector outputs (UK, AU), and CloudScape scan results — normalizing each into a common schema.
